Woodrow Johnston
Chairman
Woodrow Johnston serves as Chairman of the Nevada Young Republicans, elected unanimously in October 2025. Chairman Johnston works as a small business owner and award-winning political strategist advising Republican campaigns and elected officials across the country. He is a Catholic, a husband, a father, and a patriot who believes in the promise of America, built on faith, family, and freedom.

Casey Bennett
Co-Chair
Casey Bennett serves on the Nevada Young Republicans Executive Committee and leads the Elko County Young Republicans. He has built one of the most active rural chapters in the state, pushing real engagement, steady growth, and a clear voice for northeastern Nevada. Casey is known for direct leadership, strong organization, and a commitment to giving young conservatives in Elko a place to step up and get involved.

Christina Johnston is a full time mother and retired special education teacher who first became active in politics in 2016 and went on to found the UNLV Campus Conservatives, leading a successful effort to defeat Sanctuary Campus policies.

Theodore “TJ” Milk is a recent law school graduate of UNLV. Milk served in both chambers of Congress, in addition to consulting in several state elections. He has a passion for government affairs advocacy and giving back to the Nevada Community.

Yonatan “Yoni” Chattah is a recent graduate of Faith Lutheran High School and student of the University of Nevada, Reno. Chattah first represented Nevada at the 2025 National Young Republicans Convention as a delegate after successfully fighting for Nevada’s representation.

Rural Chair
Morgun Sholty is a father and a native son of Kentucky. A longtime public relations professional, Sholty helped scale his family’s supplement business into the largest provider in the Standardbred horse racing industry in the Northeast.
Morgun played a key role in advancing one of the nation’s most important domestic mineral refining projects, helping secure tens of millions in investor funding. |
Natalie Thomas
Social Media Director
Natalie Thomas, known affectionately by friend and foe alike as “Nasty Natalie,” is the Social Media Director of Nevada Young Republicans. A mother and wife, Mrs. Thomas is known for her blunt honesty, willingness to hold public servants accountable, and impeccable skill in graphic design.
